After reading the first two books in this series I was curious about Sam and what his story was. He was such a strong character who had a hard past. It wasn't necessarily his problems but his family problems that turned him into the person that he was.

This story is about two people who have been in love for a long time but were to hurt and stubborn to realize it. The journey they take together was amazing and well worth the time spent reading. I personally can't wait for the next installment in this series.

I loved this book. It exceeded my expectations. The emotions felt real. The characters remain entertaining. I can't wait until the next book in the series.
SPOILERS Despite having issues, I liked the H & h. The H had a difficult situation to deal with and while I do not agree with him using drugs to do so, it is not unrealistic. I loved that the first time the H & h were together they were both virgins. Regarding the h not being faithful to 2 sort of boyfriends in the past, I can forgive it due to the circumstances of each and both times she was with the H. She never slept with the first boyfriend and he treated her badly but I agree it is cheating. Hats off to the author for having the H not smex OW since seeing h again even when they were not in a relationship yet, she had a boyfriend and he was on tour having girls thrown themselves at him. I am very happy that the author did not have the stereotypical manhoe rocker who hooks up with groupies.

I wanted a different ending. While it was a realistic, I found it slightly depressing. Also issues such as a boyfriend, drug usage and another major thing were left unresolved. I wanted the characters to have a HEA as opposed to a HFN. They deserve it.
This is the third edition in the Luminescent Juliet series. This one wasn't my favorite of the series, however it did deal with issues such as mental illness and schizophrenia and the problems that occur in their lives and the lives of their loved ones. That part of the story was very touching. As I've said with the last two books this is a young adult love story. Sam is the back up singer and plays the bass with the band, which has had a lucky break and is tour with some larger bands. Peyton is along with the band to help with publicity and photos. Peyton is a very young girl without a clue. Most of the book she drove me crazy with her inability to see what was right in front of her face. I was more sympathetic with Sam, but did not like how he coped with his brother's problems by using drugs. Not my favorite book in this series.
I definitely have enjoyed the series, this book definitely went to a slightlydarker place. I feel the characters were very realistic. Slightly miffed by the authors description of Austin, Texas, I think she may have gotten it mixed up with Dallas.
Oh I'm seriously loving this entire series! Each book is just so amazing on its own but I love getting the little glimpses of the rest of the band. My heart hurt for Sam. I just wanted to cuddle him but I love that Peyton didn't give up on them!
Love this series its a hidden gem!!

These two don't start off as friends as something happened when they slept together in the past. There's some misunderstandings that lead to them hating each other that are touchingly discovered later in the story. Sam has some family secrets that he can't tell Peyton which could solve all their issues but he's not sure he can trust her with his family secret.

I really dont want to spoil the secret even though you will probably guess at some point in the story. Jean handled this part of the story well and with understanding. Having a family member who suffers the same she did a great job at writing about it and also putting a light on it.

I don't think Haus can top the fabulousness of book one, but this one comes close. I really enjoyed it.

With the Band begins with Peyton, excited to be going on tour with Luminescent Juliet, her first college gig as a music journalist. Romeo asked her to come along and run their social media sites as well as photograph the band during performances.

Even the prospect of being stuck on a bus with Sam, LJ's bass player, can't dampen this opportunity. It's obvious Sam and Peyton have a tumultuous past considering Sam hates her guts and he is definitely not happy about her tagging along. But while they're on the road old feelings surface and Peyton comes to some realizations.

I thought Seth's storyline was also unique and I thought Haus handled it with care.
